Joshua Tree, California | August 25-31, 2025
Into the Desert…
Where the sun beats strong,
A place of stillness where you feel you belong.
Here, we align with the Earth’s ancient flow,
Embracing it’s cycles, both fast and slow.
In the heat of the day, when all seems dry,
We seek our inner water, from deep inside.
Through gentle breath and mindful grace,
We choose to move at nature’s steady pace.
Tune in to your body, trust the wisdom of the beat,
as it mirrors that same rhythm beneath your very own feet.
In this sacred space, our balance is found,
Well-being takes root in this hallowed ground.
Join us in Joshua Tree, where Mother Earth begins anew
a journey of regeneration unfolds, it’s yours to pursue.
Together we’ll explore, restore, realign,
Finding harmony in intention and peace in due time.
The Wandering Soul Collective is honored to host space for an…
All-Inclusive, 7-day reset, moving with the pace of the elements.
August 25-31, 2025
On this regenerative yoga retreat, you can expect to break free from old cycles and embrace the wisdom of Earth Pace Rituals. As we move through the rhythms of nature, we will cultivate new patterns of purpose that nourish not only ourselves, but also our community and the planet.
In the desert’s embrace, where the heat calls for conservation, we’ll learn how to adopt our inner elements. By tuning in to the body’s natural cycles, we will build trust in its innate wisdom—mirroring nature’s flow to restore balance, and well-being. We’ll explore when it feels freeing to move with fire, and when it feels more nourishing to flow with water.
Guided by these elements, we reset with Earth’s rhythms, creating space for growth, intention, and restoration. With mindful movement, elemental practices, and deep reflection, we will reconnect with our physiological intelligence, honoring the link between us and nature.
As we walk this path together, we make space for peace and intention to take root, nurturing a life in balance within ourselves and what’s outside of us.
Our sacred space to plant new seeds.
Gaia Villa was thoughtfully crafted to be an intimate sanctuary for healing. Visitors can expect to connect deeply with themselves, others, and the exotic, medicinal energy of the dessert. With serene views, a private hot tub for stargazing soaks, an outdoor yoga pavilion that harmonizes with the surrounding sounds, a fire pit for ceremonies and storytelling, cold plunge tanks to challenge the mind’s boundaries, and so much more, every element welcomes transformation and renewal. Inside you’ll find a fully equipped studio for classes, workshops, and discussion that we will utilize during the heat of the day, along with a spacious and beautiful living room for gatherings and celebration.
Joshua Tree National Park offers a unique blend of introspection, energy vortexes, and ecological diversity, where the Mojave and Colorado Deserts meet. This convergence creates a distinctive landscape filled with diverse wildlife like bighorn sheep and desert tortoises, along with vibrant ecosystems, from wildflowers to towering rock formations. Visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while experiencing the harmony of these two desert regions. This unique geographical feature creates a landscape that is unlike any other, offering an unparalleled opportunity to find peace and reverence in the vast richness of nature.
The Joshua Tree holds deep spiritual meaning, symbolizing resilience, adaptability, and personal growth. Its unique appearance and ability to thrive in harsh desert conditions inspire us to draw upon our inner strength and seek enlightenment. The tree’s interconnectedness with its environment highlights the importance of community and support, while its life cycle reminds us to embrace change and life’s impermanence. Despite the scorching heat, minimal rainfall, and nutrient-poor soil, this hardy plant has adapted to not only survive but flourish.
The Joshua Tree is a reminder that you, too, possess the inner strength to overcome life’s challenges and grow in the face of adversity.

Since the moment we first crossed paths, our journeys have intertwined, with each of us helping the other rise and evolve on our spiritual paths. Together, we serve as a beacon of light for kindred souls, those who carry the weight of fear and judgment, guiding them toward liberation and the innate wisdom that resides within every being.
As a team, we are driven by a shared vision of creating a world rooted in radical acceptance and compassion. We are deeply empathetic, reverent toward all life—people, animals, the planet—carrying a profound respect for the interconnectedness of all things. Our hearts burn with a passion to forge a new, more nurturing culture for our world, one that uplifts and empowers through shared power and collective healing.
With an insatiable curiosity and a commitment to unconventional thinking, we are not afraid to challenge the status quo. Together, we are trailblazers, passionate about the power of community, believing that the path to true freedom lies in creating lateral power structures where everyone shares in the responsibility of shaping a brighter future. We are both generative forces, constantly inspired to create environments where authenticity, love, and mutual growth can flourish.
Our bond strengthens and amplifies our individual strengths. We walk through life as accepting, empowering, and community-driven leaders, working in harmony to embody the change we wish to see in the world. Together, we hold space for all beings to feel safe, free, and seen, embracing the freedom that comes from stepping into one's true self.

Scholarship Opportunities
We are committed to making our retreats as accessible as possible for everyone, but are especially proud to allocate funds for multiple scholarship offerings.
For individuals facing chronic illness or disease, I (Kait), like many of you, understand how daunting it can be to navigate life when each day brings uncertainty. It is our belief that these experiences can offer invaluable perspectives, enriching our collective journey.
We recognize the importance of diverse viewpoints and are committed to acknowledging the unique difficulties faced by people of color and the LGBTQIA+ community. While we may not be an affinity space exclusively for these individuals, we are dedicated to fostering a safe(r) and inclusive environment where everyone can embrace their true selves, radiating their light into the universe.
To honor and support these communities, we are offering three scholarships of $200 each to help alleviate the expenses associated with our retreat. We hope this assistance will allow more individuals to embark on this transformative journey, fostering harmonious relationships that resonate throughout our world.
More about us as individuals…
Hi! I’m Lindsay…
I am a devoted student and humble teacher of the intricate patterns of nature, aligning my life’s work with the ancient and modern practices of herbalism, permaculture, astrology, yoga, and philosophies that honor the harmonious rhythms of the natural world. My heart and hands are deeply connected to the earth, and I find immense fulfillment in cultivating right relationships—both within myself and with the living systems around me—just as nature so beautifully does.
Guided by the wisdom of plants and the sacred knowledge of ancient ways, I’ve discovered a profound sense of peace and hope in the very wildness that once overwhelmed me with anxiety and pessimism. Now, my mission is to awaken the innate, intuitive wisdom within all beings, igniting our collective capacity to co-create harmony and transform our traumatized world into one that not only heals but thrives in its natural abundance.
At the core of my practice is the unwavering belief that every being carries a unique essence, made up of all things, and that this essence is a reflection of the universe itself. This knowing fuels my commitment to radical acceptance—moving through life with an open heart and mind, fully embracing each moment and each person as they are. In doing so, I strive to create spaces where raw authenticity and deep safety can flourish.
I walk through the world as a luminary, both grounded and bold, embodying a harmonious balance between wisdom and intuition. My work flows with the earth-centered energy of a realist-mystic, blending insight with practicality, and drawing from the Tiger’s Eye energy that empowers courage and resilience. Whether through nurturing the land, offering guidance, or embracing soulful reflection, my intention remains clear: to create a world where healing and flourishing are inseparable truths.

A little more about me, Kait…
I am a spiritual guide and creative force, merging the ancient wisdom of yoga with the art of portrait photography to illuminate the raw, unfiltered essence of unity. Through reflective imagery and the synergy of breath and body, I strive to be both a torchbearer of integrity and a beacon of transformative light. My spirit wanders with purpose, moving in harmony with the ever-evolving depths of my soul as I uncover new layers of myself each day.
Rooted in the power of community, I embrace the philosophy of "tribe-mind"—a belief that our collective well-being is interconnected. All pain is collective pain, and true progress is only possible when we lift each other up. I live in service of this truth, committed to fostering a more compassionate world where we care deeply for each other and the planet.
As a practitioner of radical kindness and a believer in the alchemy of human connection, my teachings and work are infused with the energy of quartz crystal—clear, powerful, and amplifying. I approach life with a heart-centered presence, embodying qualities of being kind, considerate, patient, and gentle, yet also revolutionary in my pursuit of change. My work is not just about inner peace but about shaking up the norms that keep us disconnected, stagnant, or suffering.
Guided by my own experiences with chronic pain and immunology conditions, I’ve been drawn deeper into realms of compassion and empathy. These challenges have been my greatest teachers, opening my eyes to the sacred responsibility of truly seeing and honoring others. This has led me to pursue trauma-informed work, where safety, trust, and human dignity are paramount.
I believe that the wonders of the universe—both glorious and tumultuous—are an extension of my imprint on the world. Every day, I welcome both the light and the shadow, knowing that each moment holds the potential for growth. My path is one of nurturing, accepting, and guiding others to live from their heart space, empowering them to step fully into their truth.
We are all connected, and my mission is to honor that connection, to move through life as a vigilant, altruistic, and tranquil presence—creating ripples of healing, love, and unity.

Why Joshua Tree in August?
We’ve chosen to go to Joshua Tree during the waxing crescent phase of the moon because this time holds a symbolic power for new beginnings. This first quarter of the moon cycle represents a blank slate—a chance to release old habits and set new intentions. It’s a natural point for reflecting on where we’ve been and consciously creating new patterns for the future. During this six-day window, the energy of renewal is heightened, offering us a perfect alignment with our journey inward as we immerse ourselves in the desert landscape.
In the late summer, when the desert is at its most intense, Joshua Tree offers a unique opportunity to embrace and grow within the extremes. By stepping into the heat of late August, we will be intentionally challenging ourselves to confront discomfort and chaos, not by resisting it, but by learning how to use our inner resources—patience, mindfulness, and resilience—to find harmony with the elements around us.
The harsh environment of the desert teaches us surrender and adaptation. There’s a sense of raw honesty in the heat, the isolation, and the vastness of the landscape. It strips away distractions and invites us introspection within ourselves, our surroundings, and each other, in ways we can’t when things are comfortable. By immersing ourselves in the desert’s extreme conditions, we will not only strengthen our bodies and minds, but also gain clarity and perspective on how to live with greater balance in dissonant times, both in nature and in everyday life.
In the quiet intensity of late summer, Joshua Tree reveals its own profound beauty. The vibrant sunsets, the surreal stillness of the night sky, and the raw, unfiltered experience of the desert are most powerful in these challenging moments, reminding us that beauty and growth are often found where we least expect them.
Under the darkness of the crescent moon, this place offers an unparalleled beauty in the night sky. With minimal light pollution, the stars come alive, shimmering like jewels against the blackness, and the Milky Way reveals itself in full, magnificent detail. It’s in this deep darkness, free from distractions, that we can more easily turn our gaze inward and connect with the vastness both within and above us. This experience is about embracing the quiet, the stillness, and the newness of both the sky and our inner worlds, allowing us to build fresh paths with clarity and intention.
