Catalyst for Change

Catalyst for Change

In the quiet vastness of the desert,
where wind reshapes what once was still,
we arrive ready to begin again.

Here, change does not rush.
It stirs softly beneath the surface,
calling us to listen,
to meet ourselves in the space between becoming and release.

Together, we honor the rhythm of what is real—
the courage to evolve,
the humility to soften,
the compassion to hold one another as we grow.

Through movement and reflection,
we plant seeds of clarity and connection,
tending to what’s ready to rise.

The Earth reminds us that all transformation is communal.
As the desert shifts form,
so too do we—
refined by honesty,
restored by kindness,
reawakened by curiosity.

This is where we build our foundation.
This is where change takes root.
This is where we return home to ourselves,
and to each other.

The Wandering Soul Collective is honored to host space for an…

All-Inclusive, 6-day reset, where self-discovery meets collective renewal..

CATALYST FOR CHANGE

A Regenerative Yoga & Connection Retreat

Change begins quietly in the still desert air, in the steady rhythm of your breath, and in the choice to see yourself in a new way.

Catalyst for Change is an invitation to step into transformation with awareness and courage. Surrounded by the raw beauty of the desert, we will create space to release what feels heavy and invite in what feels true.

Guided by integrity, compassion, and curiosity, this retreat centers around community, clarity, and connection. Through movement, mindfulness, and meaningful conversation, we will build a foundation of trust and care that supports personal growth and collective healing.

Each day offers the chance to align with the elements and the natural rhythm of life. The desert reminds us to move with intention, to listen deeply, and to honor both stillness and flow. We will explore how to embody the strength of fire, the softness of water, and the steadiness of earth as we learn what balance means for each of us.

This experience is a space to reconnect with your own wisdom while growing within a community that values honesty, kindness, and curiosity. It is an opportunity to co-create a village where change is welcomed, stories are shared, and compassion leads the way.

When you return home, you will carry with you a renewed sense of clarity and connection to yourself, your people, and the world around you.

I have been waiting

Our sacred space to pause for transformation, curiosity, and care.

Where the Mojave and Colorado deserts meet, a living convergence unfolds. A meeting of contrasts that mirrors the human experience of change. Joshua Tree National Park is a landscape of transformation, where two distinct ecosystems merge to create something entirely new. It is a place where stillness holds energy, where silence hums with life, and where each sunrise feels like a new beginning.

This land teaches us about resilience, adaptability, and the beauty that arises from coexistence. The Joshua Tree itself stands as a symbol of strength through surrender, thriving in conditions that would challenge most forms of life. Its twisted branches reach in all directions, a reflection of how growth often happens through change, not despite it.

In this sacred meeting place, the Earth reminds us how to expand without force, how to root deeply while remaining flexible, and how to move through seasons of transformation with grace. Just as the desert finds balance between extremes, we too can learn to hold both stillness and movement, curiosity and clarity, effort and ease.

Joshua Tree invites us to listen closely to the land, to one another, and to the quiet voice within that knows when it is time to evolve. Here, we remember that change is not something to fear but something to honor.

In community, in integrity, and in connection, we grow together.

Since the moment we first crossed paths (on Zoom!), we felt a pull towards each other - a call to co-create and build something bigger than ourselves. Together, we stand as a beacon of light for kindred souls, those who are seeking something bigger, guiding them toward a collective community that celebrate the innate wisdom that resides within every being.

As a team, we are driven by a shared vision of creating a world rooted in radical acceptance and compassion. We are deeply empathetic, and carry a profound respect for the interconnectedness of all things. Our hearts burn with a passion to forge a new, more inclusive culture for our world; one that uplifts and empowers through shared power and collective healing.

With an insatiable curiosity and a commitment to unconventional thinking, we are not afraid to challenge the status quo. Together, we are trailblazers, passionate about the power of community - where everyone shares in the responsibility of shaping a brighter future. We are both generative forces, constantly inspired to create environments where authenticity, love, and mutual growth can flourish.

Our bond strengthens and amplifies our individual strengths. We walk through life as accepting, empowering, and community-driven leaders, working in harmony to embody the change we wish to see in the world. Together, we hold space for all beings to feel safe, free, and seen, embracing the freedom that comes from stepping into one's true self.

Scholarship Opportunities

We are committed to making our retreats as accessible as possible for everyone, but are especially proud to allocate funds for scholarship offerings.

For individuals facing chronic illness or disease, I (Kait), like many of you, understand how daunting it can be to navigate life when each day brings uncertainty. It is our belief that these experiences can offer invaluable perspectives, enriching our collective journey.

We recognize the importance of diverse viewpoints and are committed to acknowledging the unique difficulties faced by people of color and the LGBTQIA+ community. While we may not be an affinity space exclusively for these individuals, we are dedicated to fostering a safe(r) and inclusive environment where everyone can embrace their true selves, radiating their light into the universe.

To honor and support these communities, we are offering one scholarship of $200 to help alleviate the expenses associated with our retreat. We hope this assistance will allow more individuals to embark on this transformative journey, fostering harmonious relationships that resonate throughout our world.

More about us as individuals…

Hi! I’m Annie…

I am a lover of rhythm, language, and vibration — a seeker of truth who listens for the spaces between sound and silence. I believe that words hold energy, that language itself is a form of alchemy, and that through sound, we remember who we are beneath the noise of the world. For me, every conversation, every note, and every breath is an opportunity to connect — to the self, to one another, and to the greater pulse of life that moves through all things.

Guided by intuition and curiosity, I walk the path of both student and teacher. Through movement and embodied awareness, I have learned to soften the chatter of my mind and return to presence. For me, movement is a meditation — a practice of listening, of grounding, and of honoring the body as the most honest instrument of truth.

I believe yoga is for every body — that it is not about perfection or performance, but about connection. Each practice is an invitation to come home to the body, to breathe into the spaces that long to be felt, and to rediscover the strength, softness, and wisdom that already live within. I hold a deep conviction that everyone is capable — that yoga meets us exactly where we are, and in doing so, reminds us that we are never separate, but part of something vast, shared, and deeply human.

At the heart of my work is community. I am devoted to creating spaces where authenticity, safety, and belonging can take root — places where people can move, reflect, and grow together. I weave together the grounded and the mystical, blending soulful insight with embodied practice. I move through life guided by intuition and compassion, by the pulse of my own heart, and by the understanding that we are all connected — all part of the same rhythm, each of us remembering the song that is uniquely our own.

A little more about me, Kait…

I am a spiritual guide and creative force, merging the ancient wisdom of yoga with the art of portrait photography to illuminate the raw, unfiltered essence of unity. Through reflective imagery and the synergy of breath and body, I strive to be both a torchbearer of integrity and a beacon of transformative light. My spirit wanders with purpose, moving in harmony with the ever-evolving depths of my soul as I uncover new layers of myself each day.

Rooted in the power of community, I embrace the philosophy of "tribe-mind"—a belief that our collective well-being is interconnected. All pain is collective pain, and true progress is only possible when we lift each other up. I live in service of this truth, committed to fostering a more compassionate world where we care deeply for each other and the planet.

As a practitioner of radical kindness and a believer in the alchemy of human connection, my teachings and work are infused with the energy of quartz crystal, clear, powerful, and amplifying. I approach life with a heart-centered presence, embodying qualities of being kind, considerate, patient, and gentle, yet also revolutionary in my pursuit of change. My work is not just about inner peace but about shaking up the norms that keep us disconnected, stagnant, or suffering.

Guided by my own experiences with chronic pain and immunology conditions, I’ve been drawn deeper into realms of compassion and empathy. These challenges have been my greatest teachers, opening my eyes to the sacred responsibility of truly seeing and honoring others. This has led me to pursue trauma-informed work, where safety, trust, and human dignity are paramount.

I believe that the wonders of the universe, both glorious and tumultuous, are an extension of my imprint on the world. Every day, I welcome both the light and the shadow, knowing that each moment holds the potential for growth. My path is one of nurturing, accepting, and guiding others to live from their heart space, empowering them to step fully into their truth.

We are all connected, and my mission is to honor that connection, to move through life as a vigilant, altruistic, and tranquil presence…creating ripples of healing, love, and unity.

Why Joshua Tree in March?

We’ve chosen to go to Joshua Tree during the waning crescent phase of the moon because this time holds a symbolic power for new beginnings. This last quarter of the moon cycle represents a blank slate—a chance to release old habits and set new intentions. It’s a natural point for reflecting on where we’ve been and consciously creating new patterns for the future. During this six-day window, the energy of renewal is heightened, offering us a perfect alignment with our journey inward as we immerse ourselves in the desert landscape.

Visiting Joshua Tree in the spring offers a unique opportunity to see life and color in an environment typically associated with barrenness and extreme conditions. The juxtaposition between desert landscape and lush flora will remind us that we can use our inner resources - patience, mindfulness, and resilience - to find harmony with the elements around us.

The blooms of the desert wildflowers and cacti teach us surrender and adaptation. There’s a sense of raw honesty in the isolation and the vastness of the landscape. It strips away distractions and invites introspection within ourselves, our surroundings, and each other, in ways we can’t when things are comfortable. By immersing ourselves in the desert’s extreme conditions, we will not only strengthen our bodies and minds, but also gain clarity and perspective on how to live with greater balance in dissonant times, both in nature and in everyday life.

In the quiet intensity of late summer, Joshua Tree reveals its own profound beauty. The vibrant sunsets, the surreal stillness of the night sky, and the raw, unfiltered experience of the desert are most powerful in these challenging moments, reminding us that beauty and growth are often found where we least expect them.

Under the darkness of the new moon, this place offers an unparalleled beauty in the night sky. With minimal light pollution, the stars come alive, shimmering like jewels against the blackness, and the Milky Way reveals itself in full, magnificent detail. It’s in this deep darkness, free from distractions, that we can more easily turn our gaze inward and connect with the vastness both within and above us. This experience is about embracing the quiet, the stillness, and the newness of both the sky and our inner worlds, allowing us to build fresh paths with clarity and intention.
